The offshore oil fields of Dzheitune (LAM) and Dzhygalybeg (Zhdanov) are located in the easternmost part of the Caspian Sea. This large oil field extends from the Absheron Peninsula in Azerbaijan to the Cheleken Peninsula in western Turkmenistan.
The Dzheitune (LAM) field has been drilling new wells since 2000, constructing and installing various platforms, while also refurbishing and retrofitting existing platforms. As a result, production was increased to 100,000 barrels of oil per day starting from 2015, employing over 1,350 employees from Turkmenistan.
PROPOSED SOLUTION BY THE GLAKOR® ENGINEERING TEAM
In recent years, a structural improvement was carried out on the LAM-28 platform, aiming to ensure safety and reconditioning in production operations.
At Glakor®, we offer our solution to achieve this goal, which includes our metric threaded IP68 cable glands (resistant to dust, moisture, and water jets) in nickel-plated brass, thus contributing to the total sealing of the enclosures.
Additionally, we provide our solution to achieve the objective with our modular industrial cabinet from the Titan Series, manufactured from AISI 316L stainless steel for marine environments with IP66 sealing, offering an anticorrosion warranty of over 10 years for this project in Turkmenistan.
